TXT Epilogue-Lauri Porra/Dalia Stasevska/Vantaan Viihdeorkesteri/Stephen Fry 文本歌词

Where do our thoughts and deeds go, where does Homo sapiens go in an universe of matter? We cannot find the paradise in our past, but we can travel towards a future paradise.
The Earth is the cradle of life, said the great dreamer of the space age, Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, but nobody stays in the cradle forever. We have been given not only our cradle, the Earth, but also the space and the whole universe, they wait patiently for us to grow up and become adults.
Perhaps our descendants are made of silicon and nanocircuits, perhaps they are gene- edited posthuman beings; children are always something new and strange. Or perhaps we tradition-respecting organic humans will spread over the cosmos, bringing life, consciousness and love to ever new planets basking in the warm light of ever new suns. Our life continues in our children and in our deeds, the life of the cosmos continues in us.
How high will the fifth stage of evolution reach? Now we transform the Earth; perhaps in the far future we will transform the Universe.
My own life is but a short, clear note in the endless, interweaving music of humankind and the Universe, full of ever new possibilities and new beauty.
I am a child of the universe, the centerpoint of the universe, perhaps the reason for the existence of the universe; I do not know, but in my ears I hear the words of the medieval poet: I do not know where I come from, I do not know where I go; I wonder that I am so happy.
