MTV音乐录影带大奖（MTV Video Music Awards）缩写为VMA，是美国一个非常重要的音乐奖项，创办于1984年夏末，其目的是表彰那些最受人喜爱的MV。虽然MV只是歌手们音乐作品的附属品，多用于宣传和标明“主打”，但是发展到现在已经有了自己独特的艺术性，很多歌手甚至会邀请好莱坞大导演来拍摄自己的mv。歌单便筛选了一些在90年代获得VMA重量级奖项”Video of the Year“的歌曲。
