首专Please Please Me的开篇之作，也是早期代表作之一。开头"One,Two,Three,Four"如同读秒一般宣布一个时代的开幕，同样的读秒在1966年Revolver专辑的开篇之作Taxman开头再次出现，也同样被认为开启了一个时代。
当年 Beatles流行的经典，同时也是Paul的爱歌，到现在很多演唱会上他都会唱出这歌，很多时还和多位名歌手一起唱呢
封面是从当时拍摄于EMI总部所在的伦敦曼彻斯特广场的楼道里的一组照片中选的, 没被选用的那张后来做了红专封面. 而蓝专封面地点相同, 原本是1969年为了"Get Back"拍的, 但后者没用上就扔给了蓝专. 可以说, Please Please Me可以在英国专辑榜蝉联30周冠军, 与阳光蠢萌的封面造型分不开.
