第7首，女低音宣叙调，《看哪！有童女怀孕》。这首宣叙调是只有六小节的单纯音乐，将亲切的预言平静地叙述出来。由通奏低音的大键琴和声引导出歌唱，前面那紧张的气氛至此变得温和了。用简简单单的音乐，宣告着最最重要的信息。“看哪！”是上帝叫人看一个证据，以证实弥赛亚来临的事实，那就是必有童女怀孕生子，起名叫以马内利（是上帝与人同在的意思）。童女怀孕所要生的孩子就是那将要来的弥赛亚，他要让人享受到上帝的同在。所以，亨德尔在这里只用了六小节，既缓冲了前面歌曲的紧张气氛，又将神人同在的安详意境叙述了出来，实在是神来之笔。第8首，女低音咏叹调《传报好消息的锡安》。在宣告童女玛丽亚孕有耶稣的宣叙调之后，女低音唱出了温和旋律的咏叹调，具有欢乐的牧歌风。这首精妙的咏叹调在女低音的中音域像宣叙调般均衡地发展，在小提琴群伴奏下进行着。不久这个主题上升八度（女高音）之后，加入合唱部，然后在弦乐合奏上照例加入双簧管及低音管，但庞大的风琴却未加入行列。这种将主题上升、加入合唱的做法形象地把歌词中“攀登那峻岭高山…你要竭力扬声，不要惧怕…兴起照耀你的光来临，耶和华的荣耀已显现照耀你”所要表达的涵义诠释了出来。
