后来这两位歌手将原曲改编，改成现在鲜为人知的版本，主要运用了原版歌曲的内容和那个民间故事，所以在这首歌里会有两个不同的歌词，编在一起的双声道也是非常的好听，主要是带有柔和，其次是暗藏的忧伤

听过女声版本的，但是感觉这个版本很真是，女版的太华丽了，盖过了它原本就应该有的感觉，就是那种淡雅宁静的感受，我也没说女声版本不好听，只是，相较，我更喜欢原版的😊
《Scarborough Fair》原是一首古老的英国民歌，其起源可一直追溯到中世纪，保罗·西蒙在英国学习期间从英国民歌歌手Martin Carthy（马汀·卡西）处学会了这首民歌，并对其进行改编，加入了自己创作的一首《The Side of A Hill》作为副歌。由加芬克尔（Art Garfunkel）作曲并演唱的副歌做为歌曲的和音在听觉的感受上不是特别强烈，因此很多人对副歌不太留意，认为副歌只是歌唱的一种处理形式，实际上副歌却是整个歌曲的灵魂，赋予了歌曲以反战的主题。该歌曲还被用作电影《毕业生》的插曲，大受20世纪60年代美国大学生欢迎。
《斯卡布罗集市》的第二句唱到了四种花朵，香芹、鼠尾草、迷迭香和百里香(Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme)，分别代表爱情的甜蜜，力量，忠诚和勇气。而目前《斯卡布罗集市》最著名的版本，也就是西蒙与加芬克尔（Simon and Garfunkel）为电影《毕业生》所创作的主题曲(当年曾超过了披头士乐队的白色专辑，登上了1968年畅销歌曲排行榜的榜首)，主要使用了“原版”中“Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme”这一小部分。
虽然安逸 但讲的是一个悲情的故事😔
这首歌首先给人的第一次感觉就是安静，越到后来心情就会越发安逸舒适
