小档案Masami Satou佐藤正美, a guitarist and a composer, was born 1952 in Tokyo, Japan. He started playing a guitar at thirteen. He has set his musical foundation on Brazilian music. His professional activities began in his school days, since then, he has been playing with a lot of musicians of various countries and styles. In 1977, he formed an acoustic and fusion band called "Carioca" mainly taking charge of composition and arrangement. Now he plays solo giving concerts all over the country and has releaced albums constantly. He gets an idear of many of his works from Nature, and contributes a part of his royalties to organizations of nature conservation.
