Genre: Death MetalBand Members:José "Motor" MantovaniRodolfo Bassani DrumsGustavo Lozano Guitars Renato Sgarbi Vocals Desecrated Sphere was formed in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, January 2011, by former Collapse NRs members José "Motor" Mantovani (bass), Renato Sgarbi (vocals), Rodolfo Bassani (drums) with the recently arrived Gustavo Lozano (guitars). Desecrated Sphere, since day one of its existence, aimed high and sought a place amongst the best newcoming Death Metal bands in Brazil and worldwide. With the independent launch of the "The Unmasking Reality" full-lenght CD and in digital format via the label DigMetalWorld, acclaimed by the press as "masterpiece of extreme metal" (Novometal.com, 9.5/10) and "revelation of Brazilian Death Metal" (Whiplash.net, 9/10), Desecrated Sphere mesmerized media and fans. Shortly after the album followed the "Gospel is Dead" music video, captured and showcased online in HD. The album was recorded throughout the year of 2010 -having guest Rubens Fraleone (from Disorder of Rage) as guitarist- at Area Livre Studio with Tomaz Ribeiro and mixed/mastered by Andy Classen at Stage One Studio. In August, Desecrated Sphere is selected to be in one of Brazils biggest open air rock and metal festivals, X Araraquara Rock, held in October 2011, and comes the drummer Saulo Benedetti to fill the space left by Rodolfo. Desecrated Sphere continues to develop their stance in the local and worldwide extreme music scene, and, with the incorporation of Rubens Fraleone, session guitarist for “The Unmasking Reality”, the band’s line-up is complete as a five-piece.
