月亮(Lucina Yue)——新生代箜篌世界化的代表人物月亮(Lucina Yue),生于新疆,长居纽约市,新生代箜篌世界化的代表人物,中国现代箜篌艺术在美东地区的拓荒者,中国现代箜篌艺术海外传播的奠基者,最具影响力的新生代箜篌演奏家,秦筝流派传人,亚洲文化研究及音乐演奏硕士学位。月亮于2021年获得纽约市艺术家奖金,2025年2月获纽约市长埃里克·亚当斯(Eric Adams)在农历新年亲自颁发亚裔贡献奖章。2018年,成为第一个在麦迪逊广场花园(Madison Square Garden)独奏的华人演奏家,也是首位登上卡内基音乐厅、林肯中心、纽约时装周的箜篌演奏家。月亮与音乐的结缘始于两周岁时偶触到键盘,即刻用琴键弹奏出会唱的旋律。基于对音色的敏感,她向往乐器的天然音色,并奠定了日后以自然声场为目标的演奏基调。她幼年多病时发生的医疗事故导致几近残疾,但依旧靠惊人的毅力完成了音乐梦想。2009年9月9日,得现代箜篌艺术创始人崔君芝看中教导,并无偿借与一台箜篌以供学习。感恩之余,她立下传承箜篌艺术的目标,从此屡获金奖。月亮于2012年获得中央电视台(CCTV)民族器乐电视大赛箜篌全场第一名后,开启了职业箜篌演奏生涯。2014年在林肯中心艾莉丝·塔利厅(Alice Tully Hall)首次公演后,她相继在华美协进社(China Institute in America)讲学、在纽约时装周跨界演出、在联合国总部独奏,并多次录制CCTV音乐频道的春节音乐会和《风华国乐》节目。2016年,与上海爱乐乐团世界首演中国当代著名作曲家、金钟奖和“上海之春”国际作曲比赛第一名方岽清箜篌协奏曲《冰与火》;纽约大都会竖琴协会邀请并赞助月亮个人音乐会,为纽约及周边的竖琴演奏家演奏箜篌;2018年,为在多伦多举行的第七届世界宗教大会演奏《袍修罗兰》佛乐套曲;2019年,清华大学和中国国家博物馆主办的第五届艺术与科学国际学术研讨会展出了以月亮(箜篌独奏为背景音乐的《体现音乐冥想作品3号》;同年,为作曲家武嘉悦(Jiayue Cecilia Wu)录制的多媒体当代音乐作品《至扎西》(For Tashi)获得包括美国电声音乐学会(The Society for Electro-Acoustic Music in the United States)2021年年度专辑精品曲目、纽约电影节、伦敦国际动画电影节等十数项奖项;2020年,发行箜篌单曲专辑《大地》(Earth),该专辑由数十座格莱美奖加冕的母带巨匠艾伦·希尔弗曼(Alan Silverman)匠心制作,并自此纳入纽约大学录音工程学院研究生课程作为常驻教学范例。2021年,在两场纽约市艺术家奖金音乐会上首演五首中外作曲家的新作品;2024年,在纽约世界首演了世界知名作曲家、指挥家谭盾的《古筝与弦乐的协奏曲》(Concerto for Guzheng and Strings)。2025年,发行个人首张箜篌专辑《鸿鹄·箜篌秘境》(Transcendent Phoenix: Ice and Fire),展示过往十年在箜篌上的全新耕耘,开启箜篌文化传承与创新的新篇章。此外,月亮是一位资深古典音乐乐迷,拥有聆听数百张历史唱片、观赏数百场音乐会及歌剧的深厚积累。她的演奏风格精妙地融合了中华文化的神韵、写意、空灵、挥洒与西方音乐的严谨结构、层次感,以“西方之骨盛东方气韵”,深入浅出,所到之处无不轰动。其艺术实践涵盖独奏、协奏、重奏、室内乐、现代音乐、新世纪音乐、世界音乐、电子乐、跨界创意乃至古典音乐与心灵疗愈佛乐等多种形式。将极致的东方音乐美学带入西方主流社会,向世界呈现最优质的华人文化名片,是她毕生的艺术追求。Lucina Yue (月亮) – Konghou Virtuoso and Cultural AmbassadorLucina Yue, known in Chinese as 月亮, was born in Xinjiang, China, and is currently based in New York City. She is known as a Defining Voice of the New Generation in Globalizing the Konghou, the Pioneer of Modern Chinese Konghou Art in the Eastern U.S., the Founding Ambassador of Modern Chinese Konghou Art Abroad, the Most Influential Konghou Virtuoso of the New Generation, a direct lineage holder of the Qin-style Guzheng tradition, and holds a master’s degree in Asian Cultural Studies and Music Performance.Lucina was awarded the New York City Artist Grant in 2021, and in February 2025, she received the Asian American Contribution Medal personally from Mayor Eric Adams during the Lunar New Year celebrations.In 2018, Lucina became the first Chinese soloist to perform at Madison Square Garden. She is also the first Konghou artist to appear at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and New York Fashion Week.Her journey into music began at just two years old when she spontaneously played melodies on a toy keyboard. From a young age, she developed a sensitivity to timbre, distinguishing the artificial resonance of electronic instruments from the warm, natural vibrations of acoustic sound. This early discernment led to a lifelong preference for unamplified instruments, shaping the tonal purity that defines her performances today.Despite family pressure to pursue academics and a childhood medical accident that left her nearly disabled, Lucina overcame significant obstacles to pursue her musical calling. On September 9, 2009, she was discovered and mentored by Junzhi Cui, founder of modern Konghou art, who also lent her a Konghou for practice. Deeply moved, Lucina made a personal vow to preserve and promote the art form.In 2012, she won first prize in the CCTV National Chinese Instrumental Music Competition, officially launching her professional career. Since her debut at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in 2014, Lucina has performed at prestigious venues, including the United Nations Headquarters, China Institute, and various international stages, often appearing on CCTV’s Spring Festival Gala and Feng Hua Guo Yue.In 2016, she gave the world premiere of Ice and Fire, a Konghou concerto composed by Dongqing Fang—celebrated Chinese composer and winner of the Golden Bell Award and First Prize at the Shanghai Spring International Composition Competition—performed with the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra. That same year, she was invited by the Metropolitan Harp Society of New York for a solo concert introducing Konghou to American harpists. She also performed Buddhist music for interfaith leaders at Taiwan’s Museum of World Religions, beginning her recording of a full-length Konghou album.In 2018, she performed the Prabhūtaratna Buddhist suite at the 7th Parliament of the World’s Religions in Toronto. The following year, her solo Earth became the soundtrack to Musical Meditation No. 3, featured at the 5th The Integration of Art and Science in the Age of Artificial Intelligence HCI Sound Art Installation Embodied Sonic Meditation by Tsinghua University and the National Museum of China.Also in 2019, Lucina recorded Jiayue Cecilia Wu’s multimedia composition For Tashi, which won over ten international awards, including the SEAMUS 2021 Album of the Year, the New York Film Festival, and the London International Animation Festival.In 2020, her single-track album Earth was mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Alan Silverman and adopted as a reference recording in New York University’s graduate audio engineering curriculum.In 2021, she premiered five new works by international composers through the New York City Artist Grant. In 2024, she gave the world premiere of Tan Dun’s Concerto for Guzheng and Strings in New York. In 2025, she released the debut Konghou album Transcendent Phoenix: Ice and Fire (鸿鹄·箜篌秘境), showcasing a decade of innovation on this ancient instrument and embarking on a new journey to preserve and reinvent Konghou culture.Lucina was formally trained in Konghou, Guzheng, and Western harp by master musicians. She became the first full-time graduate student of Guzheng Master Professor Zhou Wang in North America. Renowned harpist Susan Jolles not only trained Lucina in Western harp but also recorded Lucina’s Konghou chamber work Yartsa Gunbu.As an avid classical music connoisseur, Lucina has studied over 100 historic recordings and attended hundreds of concerts and operas, developing a unique musical voice that blends Chinese spiritual elegance with Western structural rigor. Her style is noted for its expressiveness, fluidity, and sophistication, captivating audiences through a synthesis of East and West.Lucina’s repertoire spans solo, concerto, ensemble, chamber music, contemporary works, New Age, World Music, electronic sound, and cross-genre collaborations.
