初夏，在北京城区南部的亦庄文化园，湿地的河塘周围都是芦苇和柳树，大杜鹃（Common Cuckoo）从池塘这边飞到另一边，边飞边叫着，它伺机把自己的卵产到东方大苇莺(Oriental Reed Warbler)的窝里完成这幕“鸠占鹊巢”；东方大苇莺也是非常警觉的，不停的大声的叫着，但是即便如此，大杜鹃还是会通过不懈努力找到空子，把卵产在东方大苇莺的巢中。终究，这是它们的本能，大杜鹃要通过其他鸟类的孵化来实现自己的繁衍。有些人，也许会觉得鸠占鹊巢中的“鸠”是邪恶的鸟，但这只是人类的视角，如果放眼更广阔世界，这只不过是生物各自生存繁衍的不同策略罢了。
