Alesha和Sabrina结识于伦敦西南的一间舞校，后来Su-Elise也脱离了原来的组合而与她们组成了Mis-Teeq。2001年，凭借一首单曲“Why?”，Mis-Teeq在很少媒体支持的情况下依旧震动了流行乐坛，成为Garage和当代R&B的领军人物。
