THUMPER are arguably the noisiest pop band in Dublin and "Magnum Opuss" is their sophomore EP, following last year's beautiful "THUMPER EP". Beautifully chaotic in concept and execution Thumper are fine purveyors of lush lo-fi noise rock tunes, with visceral double tracked drums, over-driven vocals and dense guitar tracking, all bundled up nicely with a healthy dose of tape saturation. Incredibly sonically expansive this EP is full of heady jaunts with sharp lyricism, sprawling instrumentation and a hell of a hook for all to enjoy.
