Jose Julian

by Drago BonacichThe beginning in the ascending career of José Julian took place while participating in a local festival called Jugemos a Cantar (let's play singing), an artistic cradle for an important number of well-known performers. The promising singer was just seven years old. After hosting a TV show and working as a model, he had the opportunity to make his first record, titled Niña Presumida, followed by a ranchera compilation called Comenzar de Nuevo. In 1996, Balboa Records signed him up, issuing a self-titled album. In 1999, José Julian teamed up with Pepe Aguilar to produce Te Conquistaré. The album featured the hit single "Te Conquistaré," which was composed by Joan Sebastian.
