向民，中央音乐学院作曲系教授，中国音乐家协会作曲理论学会理事，权威期刊《音乐研究》编委，日本文化厅和德国柏林Hans Eisler音乐学院访问学者。在中央音乐学院作曲系从事教学工作三十余年，教授本科生至博士研究生的音乐分析和作曲课程。其作品在国内外重要音乐活动和著名音乐厅中被广泛演出，例如：日本朝日新闻一百二十周年音乐节、中韩现代音乐节、北京现代音乐节、韩国统营现代音乐节、上海当代音乐周、中德建交40周年柏林爱乐音乐会等，并曾为《东宫西宫》《卡拉是条狗》等三十余部影视作品创作配乐。作品由人民音乐出版社、中央音乐学院出版社、Peters Edition、现代出版社等国内外重要的出版社出版。在学术领域，多篇文章发表于《中央音乐学院学报》《音乐研究》《人民音乐》等重要核心学术刊物，并主持国家社科基金艺术学重点项目。还参与创建并主持了“中央音乐学院音乐分析论坛”“中国当代音乐创作论坛”等重要学术活动。Xiang Min is a professor at the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music, a director of the Composition Theory Society of the Chinese Musicians Association, a member of the editorial board of the authoritative journal <Music Research>, and a visiting scholar at the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs and the Hans Eisler Music College in Berlin, Germany. She has been engaged in teaching at the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music for over 30 years, teaching music analysis and composition courses to undergraduate and doctoral students.Her works have been widely performed at important international and domestic music events and famous concert halls, such as the 120th Anniversary Asahi Shimbun Music Festival in Japan, the China-Korea Modern Music Festival, the Beijing Modern Music Festival, the Tongyeong Modern Music Festival in Korea, the Shanghai Contemporary Music Week, and the Berlin Philharmonic Concert for the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between China and Germany. He has also composed music for more than 30 film and television works, including <Dong gong Xi gong > and <Kara Is a Dog>. His works have been published by important domestic and international publishing houses such as People’s Music Publishing House, Central Conservatory of Music Press, Peters Edition, and Modern Publishing House. In the academic field, he has published numerous articles in important core academic journals such as the Journal of the Central Conservatory of Music, Music Research, and People’s Music. He has also presided over key projects of the National Social Science Fund in Art. He has participated in the creation and hosted important academic activities such as the “Central Conservatory of Music Analysis Forum” and the “China Contemporary Music Composition Forum”.
