Iris的艺人档案Gengping Zhu (Iris) is a composer and singer. Ms. Zhu was taught piano at the age of seven. When she was 12, she started to learn singing. In 2010, she was admitted to Xiamen University of Technology with the major of Music Engineering and she started to compose the music. She took the computer music composition studied at Taiwan YuanZe University with Prof. Jeff Huang. Her graduate studies in Art and Entertainment Administration took place at Valparaiso University. Ms. Zhu is the owner of Amoy Indie Music Inc. since 2014. She has been serving as the sound designer at Chicago Street Theatre, Indiana. Ms. Zhu has participated in many international composition competitions.In 2013, Ms. Zhu produced and published two music singles “Barbie” “Happy with you” and she was invited to attend the interview by IC Broadcasting Radio Station FM 97.5. Ms. Zhu has been nominated for “WOCMAT 2012 International Electroacoustic Music Young Composers Awards” and presented her music piece at Sound Gallery. She has produced the soundtrack for a video “活” which won the “Outstanding Award” in the 22nd Time Young Creative Awards Competition. She produced the electroacoustic music piece “Survivor” which won the “Outstanding Award” at Cross-Strait Modern Technology Music Festival. In 2013, her article on computer sound design “Speech-to-singing” was published in Journal Gerontechnology and Service Management. Ms. Zhu has been presenting her Sound installation work “Sound Map” at Musicacoustica-Beijing and was officially nominated as a composer. 朱耿萍（1991年生，福建人），作曲家和歌手，厦门硬地音乐文化传播有限公司总经理。曾在印第安纳州Chicago Street Theatre担任音乐设计，现任美国纽约Ischool音乐学校音乐指导教师，音乐制作人。她自幼学习钢琴和声乐，喜欢音乐创作， 本科毕业于厦门理工大学音乐制作系， 2015年赴美就读艺术管理硕士。她在求学期间参与多项国际原声电子音乐作曲大赛，曾获多个奖项。2012年在台湾制作和发表个人单曲《Barbie》《Happy with you》，2013年被亚洲IC之音广播电台邀请录制“跟着音乐去旅行”栏目。曾入围WOCMAT 2012国际原声电子音乐青年作曲奖并展演其电子音乐作品“梦境里的侏罗纪”；曾参与旺旺广告作品的音乐制作并获第二十二届金犊奖优秀奖；曾参与海峡两岸电子音乐节作曲大赛，其作品“Survivor” 获优秀奖；曾跟随台湾作曲家黄志方教授学习音乐科技与制作软件Max/MSP. 于2013年参与歌声合成系统的研究，在福祉科技与服务管理学刊平台上发表其研究论文“歌声合成系统构想与设计”。曾在2013北京国际电子音乐节Musicacoustica-Beijing活动中发表其音乐科技互动作品“Sound Map” 并被官方评为作曲家。
