"HEARTEATER is a smoldering post-hardcore quintet who’ve earned their stripes on the Danish alternative music scene. After releasing two well-received EPs over the last couple of years, the crushing hardcore outfit is set to make their mark with their debut album “A House In Rapture”, due to be released in May. An album with a dizzying blend of a melancholic and dark sound, mixed with crushing metal riffs and guttural growls by charismatic frontman Emil Breuning.HEARTEATER-vocalist Emil Breuning muses “A House In Rapture’ is an attempt to find the beautiful or natural in a world that offers many negative and artificial sides. The album is filled with love songs, stashed with heavy riffs and brutal growls, and complemented by dark texts that flourish over the fast rhythm section.”The album is recorded with producer Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, MØL and Cartographs) during Summer 2018 till Winter 2019. It ended up being a raw sounding record that tries to capture the energetic live show the band is known for. Moreover, the album features vocal contributions by Dan Christensen (Sons Of Death Valley), Alexander Kolby (Dirt Forge) and Jesper Gün (Ghost Iris).HEARTEATER debuted with a self-titled EP in 2015, but really burst onto the scene with their sophomore EP ‘Mare’. Described as ‘a genre cocktail that doesn't shy away from breaking the unwritten rules’ and containing a ‘sheer amount of attitude’, this release raised the bar for things to come.
