Fenomenon is Kjetil Ingebretsen, Håvard Rosenberg and Ruben Dalen from Stavanger, Norway. In 2000 they signed with London label Nuphonic, and released the two critically acclaimed EP's “Pacific Memories” and Visjon.Nord” before Nuphonic was suddenly liquidated. Fenomenon was kind of a “compilations favorite” during the chill-out era, and the tracks released by Nuphonic were licensed to over 30 different albums during 2001, 2002 and 2003. The tracks also appeared in various commercials and a video game, and in 2005 the instrumental track “Solara” could be heard in Michael Bay’s action/sci-fi film “The Island”.
