身兼义大利实验音乐品牌Fringes营运者之一的吉他演奏家Giuseppe Ielasi，2005年新专辑"Gesine"受到Johan Berthling的青睐，将其引渡至瑞典Hapna厂牌底下发行。除了Fringes的经营之外，Giuseppe Ielasi亦是一位化学工程高材，现居义大利北方，作为一个electro-acoustic works的乐手。过去Giuseppe Ielasi一直待在义大利与Renato Rinaldi、Dean Roberts、Taku Sugimoto等乐手合作，透过他弹得一手迷幻吉他的牵引，新专辑"Gesine"里6首无标题的音乐作品更显得神秘。2003年Giuseppe Ielasi首张个人专辑"Plans"，於加拿大音乐厂牌Sedimental底下发表。透过ambient keyboard samples、Guitar、Electronics等乐器的紧密结合，令我们见识到他丰沛的创作与Improvised的演奏技巧，"Plans"当年已是一张electro-acoustic的典范。新专辑"Gesine"发表於Hapna并不令我们感到意外，毕竟过去Oren Ambarchi、Sheriff与David Grubbs的作品似乎已交代了Johan Berthling的音乐理念。Giuseppe Ielasi is a guitarist and electronic musician with a bent toward avant-garde and experimental work. The founder of the edgy Fringes record label, Ielasi also released his debut album, Gesine, on Hapna in 2005. A self-titled album followed in 2006.
