Bhakti Music is a music group founded by a woman named Deep, who has traveled extensively to India and learned the heart opening effects of mantra and bhajan singing. She composes the music and writes songs that are inspired by the wisdom of the Indian culture and texts from the Vedas. The other four members sing and play guitar, harmonium, percussion, and bring a vital spirit and group energy to the recording. The chants, sung in joyous yet reverent fashion, are from ancient traditional Vedic Scriptures, sung in repetitive fashion. Many are not well known, but are sung in a loving fashion with a gentle joy-filled spirit.
