“Fluorescent”是对《Supercut》最简单而传神的描述。Synthesizer Pop科技感合成器鼓点密集的跳动打底一扫上篇章的沉重阴霾，并回归到专辑开场的舞曲氛围。当Lorde收拾着过去种种时，脑海里浮现出一幕幕画面——邂逅、热恋、摩擦、争吵、流泪、自责、尝试挽救、逃避、痛苦、放弃、陷入回忆，脆弱敏感的情绪再次涌现。这首歌是对前面两篇章所有美好回忆的总结。她如同从电影里剪辑出蒙太奇闪回那般，反复播放着那片刻的美好。

lorde的歌需要一个人安静的听，但是目前很多的年轻人都喜欢喧哗狂躁的电音说唱什么的，像这种好听的歌都被埋没了。
这首的节奏感偏向于green light，事实上整个专辑都遵循着渐进节奏的方法，但却首首能带给人不一样的视听体验，无论是乐器的使用还是作曲都是十分完美。
不仅让我整个人达到了从未体验过的听感，更使向世界表达了Lorde的才华，如果上帝在创造我们时，他一定给这个女人附上上音乐的绝对天赋☺
